Blessings in this New Year

Happy New Year! 2023 is here!

It’s fun to know we will be living in the same house for the entire year. The husband is already looking at where we may move next. Life can’t always be predictable, but we can always adapt.

Being a Sign Language Interpreter at my home church is such a blessing in my life. Since I began at Shoreline Church in Monterey, California I have grown and learned so much about who I am and how to share that while I’m interpreting. I have found such a supportive and loving community here at The Crossing in St. Louis, Missouri.

Thank you to all those in my life who invited me and encouraged me to attend church with them, especially during deployment.

Let every heart prepare Him room….

As an interpreter, I always bring a piece of myself to the job. While it is my role to never break character, it’s a little different in the church setting. I can lean on God to help deliver His message. This has carried over into other aspects in my life giving me so much joy.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and are ready for what He has in store for you this year.
